Dr. Gouranga Charan Dash (b. 1956)

Founder, Puppeteer, Scriptwriter & Researcher

Prof. Gouranga Dash is former Head of the Department of Odia at Ravenshaw College, Cuttack. He obtained his Ph.D. from Utkal University on Puppet Play. A versatile practitioner and international level puppet artist, he writes his own scripts on social issues, composes music, and retains traditional roots. He founded Sriram Chhaya Natak, Gabeshana Parishad, Sakhinanda Puppet Museum, and Anand Ashram.

Sri Prahallad Behera (b. 1946)

Artist & Specialist in Graphics, Lino & Woodcuts

Graduated from Art College, Khallikote, Sri Behera works as an artist at Government College, Angul. His graphic creations, lino, and woodcuts have been exhibited widely and published in various renowned journals and art magazines across India.

Dr. Sabitri Dash (b. 1957)

Scholar & Modernization Specialist

Teacher of Odia literature at Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Angul. She completed her Ph.D. on 'Hasya Rasa in Odia Literature' and has whole-heartedly associated herself with the process of modernizing Ravana Chhaya shadow puppet play.
